Leave Injustice to God
“But it’s not fair. It’s unjust.”
A reflection on trusting God with injustice

Scripture teaches that God is just and fair, and that HE will ultimately bring justice to every situation (Romans 12:19), whether that be in this life or beyond the veil.
Turn to God IN PRAYER, which is sadly the last thing a lot of people do. However, during times of injustice or hardship, the Bible teaches us to bring our burdens TO THE LORD and trust in His guidance and protection (Philippians 4:6–7).
Seek wisdom and understanding FROM GOD’S WORD to navigate through unjust situations. Proverbs 2:6–7 states, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.”
Did you hear that?! You have a promise from the Creator of all that is, that despite the economy or what is happening in this fallen world, He holds success in store FOR THE UPRIGHT. So be upright! That’s the focus! Leave injustice to God. Instead of your focus being on who is doing wrong, YOU be blameless. Get upright! Keep your heart sweet before Him. There are blessings for those that take this position.
Be responsible for YOU and YOUR actions. In other words, and not to go Gandhi on you, but be the change you wish to see (Jesus taught it first — do unto others as you would have them do unto you). Act justly and love mercy! Live out Micah 6:8, which says, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of YOU? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
